We strive to be transparent in the processing of your data. Because we use many of the same online services, we know that inadequate information and overly complex language are common issues in privacy policy. We took the opposite approach: we wrote our privacy policies and related documents in plain language. We actually want you to read our policy and understand our privacy practices!

We strive to ensure the security of your information. Our team is committed to ensuring that your data is secure. We continually update our security practices and invest in our security efforts to improve your information security.

This policy describes our privacy practices in concise language, keeping legal and technical terms to a minimum.

3. Scope of application of this privacy policy

This privacy policy applies to Translate - Speech & AR operated websites, apps and other services. For simplicity, we refer to all of these as "services" in this privacy policy. For clarity, we have added links to this privacy policy to all applicable services.

4. The information we collect

5. How do we use information

The main reason we use your information is to provide and improve our services. In addition, we use your information to help you secure and communicate with you. Read on to learn about the various reasons we use your information and practical examples.

We use your email address, name, country and language for custom marketing.

Make sure your device has a consistent experience

To provide you with relevant benefits and advertising

Develop, display and track content and advertising on our services and other websites (sometimes tailored to your interests) and measure their effectiveness. When you use our services, third party advertising partners may provide you with ads based on your interests. These companies may use technology to collect data about users, including imprecise location data, to help them customize the ads and measure their effectiveness. These companies may collect this data through the SDK or by users who view or interact with their ads. If you don't want to receive in-app ads, in some cases you can upgrade to a paid version of the app.

As far as European law is concerned, these advertising partners are independent controllers of your information, which means they are responsible for providing and complying with their own policies regarding any personal information related to the service.

6. How do we share information

Since our goal is to provide you with the best possible service, the primary sharing of user information is between service providers and partners who assist us in operating the service, working with other IAC group companies and, in some cases, legal agencies. Read on to learn more about how to share your information with others.

With our service providers and partners

We use third parties to help us operate and improve our services. These third parties assist us with various tasks, including data hosting and maintenance, analysis, marketing, advertising and security operations.

We use your non-personal information (the information itself does not identify you, such as device information) to conduct targeted online marketing through tools such as Facebook Custom Audience, in order to contact interested parties.

We follow a rigorous review process before hiring any service provider or working with any partner.

7. Cross-border data transmission

Information sharing listed sometimes involves cross-border data transfers, such as in the United States of America and other jurisdictions. The United States, members of the European economic area (EEA) and other countries all have different laws. Laws and rules protecting your personal information in your country/region may differ from those in your country/region when your information is moved from your country/region to another country/region.

The commission has adopted standard contract clauses, also known as model clauses, to protect personal information transferred outside the European economic area. We use these model clauses or other appropriate safeguards (e.g., the eu-us privacy shield sends personal information to certain third party service providers in the United States that are certified to receive such information under the privacy protection program) to allow data to be transferred from the eea to other countries.

8. Your rights

We want you to be in control of your information and know your privacy, so here are some things to keep in mind:

Depending on your location, you may have some or all of the following rights related to how we use your personal information:

Access: you can request access to your personal information and get a copy of it;

Correction: you may have corrected or updated inaccurate/incomplete personal information;

Objection, limitation or limitation of data: you may require us to discontinue all or part of your personal information or limit our use of it.

Delete: in some cases, you may request the "forgotten" right (this is the right to delete your information or limit our use of your data). We will respect such requests unless we must retain this information to comply with our legal obligations, or unless we have an overriding interest in retaining it.

Portability: exercise the right to data portability in some cases (this is the right to obtain a portable version of your personal information for transfer to another provider)

Consent management: if we rely on consent to process your personal data, you may revoke consent at any time. In the case of consensual processing, you do not need to provide reasons for withdrawal.

9. How do we protect your information

The security of your personal information is important to us. We follow generally accepted standards to protect personal information submitted to us, both during and after transmission. Your account information is protected by a password. We strive to protect you from unauthorized access or alteration, disclosure or destruction of your personal information. As with all technology companies, while we take steps to protect your information, we do not promise that you should not expect your personal information to remain secure at all times. We regularly monitor our systems for possible vulnerabilities and attacks and regularly review our information collection, storage and processing practices to update our physical, technical and organizational security measures.

If we suspect or find any security breach, we may suspend all or part of your services without prior notice. If you think your account or information is no longer secure, please notify us immediately at shegmig0516@sina.com.

10. Privacy policy changes
